Windswept, 24x30, oil

I spent a very windy (30-40mph) day painting here at the Gauldrons, near Machrihanish (Scotland). I had my easel well anchored with heavy stones, but my brush was bouncing around! It was great light and good fun though. I got what I needed from firsthand observation and then carried it forward another 20 percent-ish in the calm studio.
